Note that, in addition to tracking the serial number of the removed component (Unit), the serial number of the On-going (replacement) unit is logged into the database allowing constant knowledge of the installed inventory by aircraft and position.
Forms displayed during Depot (bench) use focus first on verification of the PIREP (reason for removal) and then detail the action taken, part by part using exploded view drawings, or the Universal Component Module (UCM).
